and providing necessary communications, documentation, severance packages and placement connections.

o Created, administered, analyzed and action planned using information gathered in our internal & external

Community Veterinary Partners

Responsible for handling the daily functions of the HR Department for our corporate office and all acquired veterinary hospitals
(50+ hospitals).
● Recruitment & Onboarding – Full cycle recruitment for Veterinarian and Practice Manager positions (i.e. job postings,
interviews, offer letters). Managed the background check process for all incoming staff. Conducted New Hire Orientation
for corporate employees and Practice Managers.

and SOPS (ex: reasonable suspicion process). Owned implementation of new HR processes & procedures for the

One of eight team members to build and launch the HR Service Center at Thomas Jefferson, answering tickets, emails and calls
for a range of HR related topics (i.e. health & retirement benefits, wellness programs, leave of absences, payroll, etc.), by
collaborating with third party vendors and Centers of Excellence to provide employees with high quality customer service.
● Onboarding – Tested & implemented new onboarding system (Red Carpet). Confirmed new hire employment eligibility via
the I-9 process.
● Benefit Administration – Ensured employee benefit enrollments were processed and reviewed file feeds to vendors for
accuracy. Audited employee dependent eligibility & documentation via queries and removed dependents as necessary.
Monitored and billed employees on leave of absences to ensure continued benefit coverage. Liaison between managers
and third-party vendors for information needed to complete unemployment claims.
● HRIS – Completed daily data entry of updated employee information as well as audited other associates’ entries using
system queries. Tested & implemented PeopleSoft system updates. Processed and verified severance and retro pay for
each biweekly pay schedule.
