I’m a passionate Biomedical Science graduate with hands-on experience in research, scientific writing, and academic reviewing. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to explore different aspects of the biomedical field — from carrying out research projects to reviewing and editing manuscripts for some of the world’s leading journals. Currently, as an academic reviewer at Cactus Communications, I collaborate with researchers across the globe, helping them improve the clarity, flow, and scientific rigor of their work. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is supporting researchers from non-native English-speaking backgrounds, ensuring their valuable work gets the attention it deserves on the international stage.
Alongside my work in academic editing, I’ve been deeply involved in research projects, including studying the hypoglycemic potential and safety of Ayurvedic preparations. Through this work, I’ve developed strong skills in conducting literature reviews, analyzing data with SPSS, interpreting lab results, and preparing research proposals and ethical submissions. I take pride in my attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to producing high-quality research that makes a real difference.
Beyond the lab and academic work, I’ve also explored the creative side of communication as a social media manager. I’ve enjoyed developing content strategies and creating engaging posts for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn — an experience that has sharpened my communication and project management skills and taught me the importance of connecting with diverse audiences.
At heart, I’m a curious and dedicated professional who’s always eager to learn and grow. I’m passionate about advancing the fields of research, scientific writing, and health communication, and I’m motivated by the opportunity to help bridge the gap between research and real-world impact.
