I am a professional who enjoys helping to improve organizations and their executive employees by solving problems and generating projects with a very positive impact on quality, productivity, and sustainability.
I started my professional career in the Dole Foods Company Honduras Division for ten years as a Senior Industrial Engineer, Production Services Manager, and Zone Controller. During this, I became an expert in problem identification and solutions, improvement of work methods and processes, incentive payment systems, salary administration, industrial relations, project management, and organizational development. In short, I had the opportunity to develop competencies in operational analysis.
Subsequently, I studied for a graduate degree in Business Administration, motivated to learn other disciplines such as Finance, Marketing, and Organizational Development with greater breadth and depth.
Afterward, I worked as a Production Manager, always with Dole Food Company in edible oils in its operation in Honduras. In this position, I developed functions such as project management, organizational development, liaison with the marketing department, and continuous improvement.
I went with Chiquita Brands, as Manager of Continuous Improvement and Statistical Process Control for the Latin American region. It was an excellent experience also because I trained teams in continuous improvement implementing projects in the Costa Rica and Honduras Divisions. In this job, I learned to train people to transfer knowledge and develop competencies.
After this, I worked for three years with the SNV Dutch Service for Social Development, where I had the responsibility to do many seminars and workshops in Strategic Planning for social development organizations benefiting from the program and the Dutch government funds destined for it.
I was then Head of Graduate Studies at the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana being in charge of the academic administration of the master's degree programs at this university, improving the educational quality. In this experience, I improved my skills in academic load scheduling, hiring of Graduate Professors, personnel management, project management, and customer service.
The last time I was providing online training for the Chambers of Commerce in Honduras, where I acquired a lot of ability to do training via Zoom preparing and delivering many courses all comprised in the topic of organizational development.
