Upcover is an Australian startup which focuses on insurance for delivery riders for apps like Uber Eats, Doordash,
GrubHub etc. Our team consisted of a senior technical lead, product manager and another junior developer.

We created an insurance quote app from scratch including an intuitive chatbot interface for collecting user
information.
●
My focus was developing the chatbot which asked dynamic questions and generated a quote depending on the
user’s answer.
●
I implemented the calculation logic for calculating the quote.
●
This app was also integrated with the firebase database that I helped create which allowed users to sign up and
register.
●
This app was also integrated with uber and doordash and users could integrate their accounts with these
services.

The client was very happy with our performance, saying "In my six months of working with the dev team and
making weekly releases, they have never missed a deadline. The developers are great at taking feedback, are
extremely responsive and stretches themselves to exceed expectations

I used a dribble design as inspiration to create a pixel perfect copy of the design and added the functionality of a
BMI calculator.

This is a website to browse and search popular movies and view posters and trailer videos
Implemented search using a 3rd Party REST API and used routing and pagination to load 10 movies at a time.

Full Stack Online Course - McLaren College
