I am a highly dedicated worker with close to two years experience handling operations and customer support in a startup company and literacy centre in Accra.
While working as an Operations Associate, I tutored children in the literacy program Jolly
Phonics on Saturdays and managed the front desk on Weekdays. I supported administrative tasks such as managing the Centre’s bookshop by updating their website with new inventories as well as handling daily orders using Shopify and Canva. I also recorded daily transactions in the company’s logbook and digitally: an initiative I brought on board when I joined the company.
Additionally, I used the Zoho software to organize quotes, invoices and receipts for clients. In this same capacity, I engaged and provided excellent customer service to clients online and when they walk into the centre to make inquires. In this role, my most outstanding achievements were customer service and the ability to maintain, a clean and welcoming space for customers and readers of the bookclub.
My one year experience as a research intern at Blackland equipped me with the confidence to work with remote teams to achieve shared goals, and the ability to conduct basic research online. In this role, I have gained practical experience in performing administrative support tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, creating presentations and word documents.
Furthermore, I have one year of experience working as a freelancer at Workspace Global, a band design company where I put to test my graphic design skills and web development skills in creating
websites and designing professional business cards using Canva and WordPress.
I am looking forward to exploring roles in customer service, operations support and data entry, Canva designs, virtual assistannce, AI data trainer etc
