Role : Senior Product Engineer
Duration : October 2021 to November 2023
Description : Travelers Policy Center provides LOBs such as Specialty and Business support for the entire
policy lifecycle. It is a system consisting of policy administration and supports the core functions of the policy
lifecycle which include product definition, underwriting, quoting, binding, endorsements, and renewals. It also
includes business rules, PCF, Rate book, forms, UW issues, coverage availability (product model changes) and
documentation configurations.
Responsibilities :
● Worked extensively on Specialty Insurance Policy Line
● Worked on configuring Product Model, system tables, configuring or modifying PCFs, entities/typelists,
setting conditions for coverages/coverage terms/forms/underwriting rules/validations, managing policy
transaction workflows and setting conditions for policy transaction initiations in Guidewire Studio,
configuring underwriting rules, configuring and writing trigger logic for generation of forms and
endorsements, rating, generating payloads, database consistency check errors, production and
environment issues.
● Took a lead with fellow subordinates and developed a new LOB from scratch.

Developed a “Developer Dashboard” utility to simplify the analysis job of PC developers. It fetches all the
necessary details related to data models and allows the user to trigger SQL or Gosu queries. Queries can be
triggered directly from the PC application without the need of accessing SQL Server Management Studio or
Guidewire Studio.
Part of Claim Center Upgrade activity from V8 to V10 which involved merging PCF and Gosu files from V8
to V10, resolving issues while file merge, PCF reconstruction when the changes are needed on UI screen,
functional screen testing of (Exposure, Claim Details, Claim Summary) screens.
