Mental Health Receptionist & Administrative Assistant

Controlled schedule for 9 providers, carefully selected the provider for new clients through a mental health questionnaire.
Created an SOP and flow chart for new client on board process. Drafted complete reception trainee handbook. Created
company archives, and scanned physical documents into the archive for safe keeping. Communicated with providers on a
daily basis about their schedule. Explained and enforced tardiness policy and COVID-19 policies on providers and clients.
Verified health insurances, submitted procedure claims through insurance website portals, kept organized
records of patient information in a database. Requested Referrals on patients behalf. Secured payments and
credit card information for copay's. Helped providers find information regarding their license or insurance
contracts as needed. Trained two mental health interns to use Theranest scheduling and database/how to
maintain an organized schedule and onboard questionnaire.
Maintained business casual appearance, and relationships with clients. Listened to client complaints and
addressed concerns professionally, and solved them efficiently. Returned client voicemails, text messages, and
emails within 24-48 hours. Made sure clients were not in a mental health crisis upon appointment
cancellations. Did my best to be a safe place for clients in severe mental health conditions, and guided them
through their care as smoothly as possible.

Customer support agent for company selling cancer detecting, DNA-test kits. Focused on the senior and
geriatric community. Called 75-100 clients per day to confirm: name, address, telephone number. This
information was securely stored on companies G-suite spreadsheets. Answered questions and gave test kit
directions as needed. Tracked missing and delivered packages, and notified customers on their delivered
packages via phone. All conversations were tracked and notated on the spreadsheet, so managers could
keep track of confirmed, pending and missing deliveries. Sold kit benefits to customers on the fence about
their purchase, thus securing payment.
Spoke with superiors on a daily basis to share new sales methods, and worked on adding them to the
company script. Recorded mock phone calls for training purposes. Reported any disconnected numbers,
negligent customers, and those with strong refusal.
Worked remotely and at my own pace. No set of clients to speak to per-day, but aimed to get through as
much of the list done as possible. Extreme patience with senior customers, and carefully listened to all
inquiries.
