Ryan Chavarria

Hi, I'm Ryan, 31 years old, and currently a Personnel Officer at StarDream Cruises, managing HR functions for over 1,200 employees. Since June 2023, I've focused on enhancing crew morale through events and recognition programs while overseeing the entire crew lifecycle, ensuring compliance during onboarding and offboarding, while managing hiring and payroll.

Before this, I was a Remote HR Recruitment Manager at Haula, where I led a team of 15 and helped grow the company from 10 to over 300 employees. My key achievements included developing talent acquisition strategies and improving employer branding. In addition to this, I have extensive experience as a Virtual Assistant for several startups, where I provided comprehensive HR support. This included hiring, developing company policies, and managing payroll systems. My contributions have significantly streamlined HR processes for these organizations, enabling them to focus on growth and development. Most of this I did not include in my cv as I've only did this during my vacant time.

My diverse HR background has equipped me with valuable skills that I’m eager to leverage in a remote role, allowing me to balance work with family commitments, especially as I support my mother through her health challenges.
