Why do I say I'm not a typist? Because a transcriber possesses certain key skills, comprehension being high on the list. One must be able to transcribe intelligently, and know what to leave out and what to include, for better readability. And that's what I do.

In addition to that, I possess excellent typing skills - 70 wpm and I am an excellent communicator.

I go the extra mile to ensure that I deliver a high quality transcript, one that has minimal to zero errors. I can guarantee an accuracy rate of 99% for good quality files, and as a rule, I never submit transcripts without proofreading them first.

I pay attention to detail, especially when it comes to punctuation. There is a loss of clarity when a freelance transcriber doesn't use punctuation effectively. In transcription, punctuation exists for a reason and misusing it, or leaving it out all together, often leads to confusion.

I value honesty and integrity, therefore I will not over-promise only to under-deliver.

I will:

• transcribe your audio or video files clean verbatim. I will lightly edit to remove filler words such as 'you know, like, so', false starts, grammatical errors, and side conversations so as to enhance readability.

• transcribe and identify every speaker’s voice or use generic identifiers.

• format the transcripts using short paragraphs, page numbers, hyperlinks, etc

• include subtitles to improve readability (optional)
