Ruth Kabura Lucy

My name is Ruth Kabura Lucy. I am a graduate in Bachelor of Science, Actuarial Science at The University of Nairobi and have undergone training in research, data analysis and entry, use of softwares such as R, Excel and SPSS.

I have volunteered at The Actuarial Society of Kenya (TASK) in the logistics sub-committee,

PCEA St. Andrews as a facilitator and treasurer for Transition Team and worked as an insurance sales agent at CIC Insurance. Through these experiences, working in a team to budget allocated

funds, source for suppliers, maintain good relations with clients, volunteering to take lead in organizing and coordinating trainings and meeting set deadlines, I have developed team working skills, ability to produce quality work with accuracy and efficiency, service-oriented attitude and excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.

Given my background in leadership, excellent written and oral communication skills, computer proficiency, familiarity with the specific responsibilities of the position, and ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies will enable me to hit the ground running on my first day.
