COMMUNITY WORK | 2017
My role in the community at the moment as Madi Youth Community leader which has been to build the Madi Youth of Victoria and bring them together. This has taught me how to build commitment to meeting every month as well as keeping in contact via group messages. I’ve also learnt how to effectively reach small goals that we have set together and keep a strong bond with culture.
Retail | Owino PTy LtD | 2016
In 2016 I took part in work experience for a week and gain retail knowledge. E.g. Customer service, Counter service such as Cashier, handling money, stocking shelves, unpacking new products, and stock take.
Retail | Coles | 2016
Work experiences opportunity I took part in for a day and gain retail knowledge. E.g. working in the bakery, stocking fresh produce on shelves as well as packing away the old.
KFC 2016
In 2016 I was employed by KFC except I only got 8 shifts during the time I was employed so I resigned, not enough shifts.
RETAIL | FARE SHARE | 2015
Fare Share a Non-Profit organization was a volunteering opportunity for me and several other students, who were lucky enough to be chosen to endure a day a full day of cooking and preparing meals that would later on be on the way to soup kitchens around Melbourne and given to those less fortunate.
On the day many of us learnt many skills, e.g. working in a team to finish off given tasks, working individually and managing a time frame.

Communication
Communication is one of my strongest suits, it is what I have had to use in many of my leaderships roles, and has given me the opportunity to achieve success in all areas in my personal life, as well as my life at school, my previous leadership role as Chairlady and at my family shop, where communication is most important to helping many of the customers, so who even struggle with English.
Leadership
In the past I’ve had leadership roles such as Peer Support Leader, Aussie Sport Leader, Madi Youth Community Chairlady.
As a Peer Support Leader, I had the role alongside my partner to lead a group of students, every end of school day in an activity which exercised our skills and capabilities, to handle and lead the group in activates without teacher support or close supervision.
As an Aussie Sport Leader, I had the role with a different partner every morning to lead a variety of grade levels in a sporting activity, to exercise the skill of leading a big group in different environments.
Previously I had the job of Madi Youth Community Chairlady, after going through an election. The job entails bringing together the youth belonging to my tribe and growing together to each become better individuals, through meetings every month and end of year conferences with the other Madi Youth Communities all through the different cities and territories of Australia. This job has taught me how to work as a big group during discussions, as well as alongside my other fellow executive board members e.g. Madi Youth Treasurer, my Secretary, Information Officer and many of the other board members, to reach a certain goal.
