I have been teaching Calculus I&II for around 4 years. Starting to tutor university students during my bachelor years as a Teaching Assistant to Professors, I clarified the difficulties existing with students, tried to understand how their mind works, and consequently, I found out the way to tackle their Calculusphobia. To my teaching philosophy, the solution for Calculusphobia is very straightforward: to realize the fact that learning the higher mathematics is the same as learning the new language! I would be very glad to help you with realizing this fact :)
Moreover, I am tutoring quantitative sections in SAT and GRE General Exams. Working around 1.5 years with more than 70 SAT and GRE students, I can confidently say that the low math skill is the minor reason of the failure in standardized exams. The student failure is mainly associated with lacking the self confidence, not using the relevant practice materials, and not being able to work on his/her weaknesses. I am more than excited to share my tutoring experience gained from very diverse pool of students and make the preparation process more enjoyable for You that You think :)
