About

Way back 2010, just after I graduated college, I was hired in Kupler DCMC Phlis. Corp (an authorized Distributor of ExxonMobil) as an Accounts payable associate for 5 years. It was my training ground when it comes to accounting procedures. I learned to prepare vouchers, checking vendor files for any previous payments, posting business transactions like bills and expenses and others, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records and prepare weekly and monthly reports using a 2005 version of Quickbooks. Handles petty cash and 1601-E payment (Withholding Tax). Then later on the company expanded of another type of business which was a pumping station, it was 2016 when they asked me to become one of their Station supervisors. I was blessed because I experienced becoming a station supervisor and develop my leadership skills in handling more than 20 people. Managing day to day operations including sales, inventory management and employee management. And because part of my duties was on operational side I was able to trained my customer service relations in dealing with demanding and angry customers. It really felt satisfying for me because I was able to connect with them and learned what are the things that needs to progress in that business. I was also became a hiring officer that time because there were 3 pumping stations that needs to fill in of employees. When bigger opportunities came, without any hesitations I grabbed it and tried my luck, I was able to go to abroad specifically Marshall Islands and worked as an Administrative Assistant at MGAS Shipping Agencies, right there I encountered different nationalities with different cultures. My duties were accounting (A/R & A/P) rolled into one, cashier and customer service and at the end of the day makes daily sales report, Time keeping, which gathering staff DTR's (manual) and prepare vouchers for it. Monitoring inventories for car parts. Then after a year I went back to my country and then tried to work on another type of industry which was Dormitel (Dormitory and Hotel at the same time) I was assigned at the canteen, monitoring the kitchen inventory and daily sales. Also they let me handled a revolving fund, preparation of weekly and monthly reports and a basic bank reconciliation.
