ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Rubén Fernández Lopesino, and I live in Azuqueca de Henares. I am a freelance
developer specializing in web technologies, and I have spent the last few years leading teams in various
technological projects.
I studied Computer Engineering at the Escuela Politécnica Superior of Alcalá de Henares, where I
focused on web development during my last two years. I complemented my education with courses
both inside and outside the university, along with self-driven research to stay consistently updated with
the latest technologies.
Over the past seven years, I have worked extensively with Node.js and Angular, using TypeScript
alongside various databases such as MongoDB, SQL Server, and MariaDB/MySQL. This experience has
allowed me to take on the responsibility of leading development teams, establishing efficient workflows,
and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
During the- academic year, I completed a Master’s Degree in Agile Software Development for
the Web at the Universidad Politécnica Superior of Alcalá de Henares. As part of my final Master’s
project, I developed a web application that included a Node.js API for the backend and a React-based
frontend, all deployed using Docker.
Today, I focus on helping businesses and projects achieve their technological goals by leveraging my
technical expertise and my experience in team management and leadership.

I currently coordinate a team of 3 developers working on a project using Angular 17 and pure CSS,
avoiding any additional styling libraries to maintain full control and simplicity in the design. Our focus is on
refactoring an application originally developed with AI assistance that did not meet the expected quality
and performance standards. To achieve this, we are enhancing the codebase by significantly improving its
readability and structure, making it easier to maintain and extend. We leverage advanced reactive
programming techniques using RxJS observables in combination with Angular’s signals to achieve
efficient state management, improved reactivity, and optimized data flow throughout the application.
Additionally, when necessary, we develop new features from scratch to replace or augment existing
functionality, ensuring that the final product meets high standards of quality, usability, and performance.
This approach has allowed us to systematically address technical debt and deliver a more robust and
maintainable application.

Develop and lead a team of three professionals responsible for the creation and maintenance of a trading
application. The project is built using Angular 19, leveraging modern features such as Signals for reactive
state management. We utilize Nx as a monorepo management tool for enhanced collaboration and
project structure, and Tailwind CSS for efficient, responsive styling. Additionally, we incorporate PrimeNG
components to ensure a robust and user-friendly interface. My role involves guiding the team through all
phases of software development, from planning and architecture to implementation and deployment,
while ensuring best practices and timely delivery.
