Quick background

Hi there my name is Rose, I'm a developer living in Newcastle, Australia. My background is in .NET web development however over the past year I've been specialising in front end development.

I have worked across many industries including banking, football, olympics, automotive and insurance and my most recent position was at a digital agency in London.

Would I suit your company and/or project?

The technologies I work with are listed in this profile, feel free to ask me any questions about these however I believe personality fit and work ethic are just as important when finding the right person.

I understand the difficulties of remote work. In my previous role I would often work with clients and colleagues who were not in the same office or I was the one working from home. I feel that regular communication is key to it working well. I'm happy to communicate via phone, video, or messaging apps like Slack.

I'm lucky that my personality is well suited to remote work, I communicate clearly and often, I have a high degree of self discipline and I enjoy working at home. I'm very used to, and comfortable with, completing timesheets hourly for all work I undertake, so you will always have a good idea of what I've been working on.

Aside from these traits, I've been told that I'm a calm, easy going person to work with and I always care about doing a good job. Having said that, I won't be the right person for every company and/or project so I'm always keen to meet and discuss the work so we both can determine if it will be a good fit.

Availability

I will be available weekdays 9am to 5pm AESDT from the start of July 2018 on an hourly rate for the rest of the year excluding some time in October and November for my wedding. I don't work late or do all nighters unless there are time zone differences or special circumstances.
