Main Responsibility:
Ensure that the product and the process meet the standard, technical and quality requirements.
Specific Duties and Roles:
Perform test process, parameter analysis, and generate process charts with the aim of determining trends and controls.
Presents plans and counter measures regarding quality improvements on product process and quality audits.
Monitor test station yield daily to achieve a stable and high yielding operations.
Co-ordinate evaluation run yield, and quality improvement validation and implementation.
Maintain compliance of test process to requirements of international standards such as ISO, CSA, UL and others.
Co-ordinate test equipment, setups and assists in production capacity planning.
Conduct quality and line audits to maintain standards consistency.
Handle a group of skilled engineer, technicians, staffs and operations and directly reporting to manager and assistant director.
Test Process Engineer (Test Line)
Specific Duties and Roles:
Analyzes and formulates corrective actions when trouble occurs on production line mainly on the 4M (man, machine, method and materials)
Decrease the DPPM in the line regarding with the daily appearance and internal problems.
Closely monitors the manufacturing lines and be able to identify any abnormalities in the process and do the necessary action items.
Monitors HDD, PCBA, and in process abnormalities through the use of QC tools, FMEA, FTA.
Issue containment and permanent counter measures (8 discipline, CPAR) for customer related problems and in process failed drives.
Statistical process Control, in Process Audit and Customer Audit person in charge.
Develop work standards / procedures to guide workers in the job. Also release work instruction sheets, fault notices and memos and be aware of the technical change in formation reports. Work instruction sheets and fault notices from other sections.
Provide standard documents for production use and the establish standard guidelines in preparation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, CSA and other Customer Audits.
Person in charge in line improvement and design an efficient process flow to shorten production, time without affecting the quality and quantity.
Handle a group of skilled technicians, staffs and operators and directly reporting to manager.
