disadvantaged backgrounds who have the potential to succeed in higher education. Objective – provide
and connect students to tutorial services, information on post-secondary education, and financial
assistance. Assist students and parents in completing college admission and financial aid applications.
Also, help in preparation for college entrance exams. I created and ran summer programming and
organized field trips to college campuses. Created and maintained alliances with other organizations to
provide alternative services and programs. Acted as a mentor and positive role model, always encouraging
and helping students move to the next step in their journey towards higher education.
