My name is Romeda Bernabe, and I am currently one of the chosen scholars of the Virtual Assistant Training conducted by DICT Zambales in partnership with our Local Government Unit in Masinloc. The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) is the Philippine government agency that supports digital development and provides online skills training for Filipinos. Through this program, I am building a strong foundation in administrative support, mastering online tools, and providing client-focused services. I am also gaining hands-on experience in managing emails and calendars, handling data entry and transcription, conducting research, scheduling appointments, generating leads, and creating content using Canva.
Although I am new in the Virtual Assistant industry, I bring with me over 12 years of professional experience in the hospitality sector, particularly from my time at The Venetian Macao and Greek Mythology Casino Macau. In these roles, I managed inventories, prepared billing records, provided administrative support, and delivered excellent customer service in fast-paced environments. Earlier in my career, I also worked as a Media Relations Officer, where I developed strong communication, organization, and administrative skills. These experiences shaped me to be adaptable, detail-oriented, and reliable—qualities that now strengthen my work as a VA.
I can confidently support clients with administrative tasks, customer support, data organization, and simple content creation. With my growing Canva skills, I am able to design social media posts, branded materials, and presentations that help businesses maintain a professional online presence. I take pride in being dependable, meeting deadlines, and working flexibly across different time zones.
Beyond my professional journey, I am a proud mother of a child with autism, which has inspired my special interest in working with autism support groups, PWD organizations, and advocacy-driven sectors. Guided by Passion, Trust, and Dedication, I am committed to providing dependable support, building meaningful connections, and helping businesses save time, stay organized, and grow.
