Roland Jay Bacolod Menoza

My name is Roland Jay B. Meñoza and I’m an Electrical Engineer currently working as a Design Engineer at DASH Engineering Phil. Inc.

I have 8 years of experience in Electrical Engineering Design.

In DASH Engineering we are assigned to all Electrical works related to shipbuilding and plant engineering. We create Single line diagrams, connection diagrams from switchgear to equipment (lighting system, power system, communication system and instrumentation system). We are also responsible with detailing of fabrication drawings in any electrical-related equipment and supports.

Our Main customer is MES TOKKI & Engineering Co., Ltd which is based in Japan. I was assigned there for a year for direct coordination with our client. Having a Japanese customer taught me about the importance of a schedule.

I became a Lead Engineer for many ship projects. This taught me a lot about project coordination, organizing of deliverables and revisions, and planning.

I am proficient with MS Outlook, AutoCAD, Marine Outfitting and Marine Drafting, PDMS, Microsoft office, and basic programming skills.

I also have 1 year of Experience working as Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance in a power plant (STEAG STATE POWER INC). I have actual experience in wiring and installation of PLC and control circuits.
