Roger Palma

Hi there, my name is Roger Palma and I'm from Nicaragua.

At a very early stage, I was fortunate enough to be exposed to the English language. I started studying it as a second language when I was child, and english has been a key part of my life since then. Being fluent in english gave me the opportunity to study my career (Political Science and International Relations) in a good college in Managua, Nicaragua, and it allowed to have all the professional experiences I've had to date. All of my professional experiences have involved translating from English to Spanish and vice-versa, at my current job I've been the official translator of the organization over the past 4 years, so I feel really comfortable and familiar executing translations projects.

I currently work at a NGO working in social entrepreneurship, and I coordinate operations and technology systems, such as G-Suite (Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, etc.), Salesforce, Slack, among others, so I also capable of executing projects related to these areas.

Finally, some of my personal interests are reading, music (I love it, listening to it and playing guitar), sports, travelling (I've traveled within my country, and I've been able to travel to Mexico and Chile as well), and I really like and I'm very familiar with Marvel and DC comic books, as well as science fiction movies, such as Star Wars.
