Roger DeSousa

I started web design and development back in 1998 at the University of Colorado. After using Perl for a year, I switched to ASP and have been using ASP.NET in its various forms since. 

Straight out of college I started a web design and development company called Etchedweb, LLC and operated it until 2013. Many e-commerce retail stores were developed during that time with most in production over a decade. On top of design and development, we offered custom hosting solutions and search engine optimization (SEO). In addition, we operated three internet retail stores of our own during that time.

Today, I continue to develop web applications on the .NET platform. I enjoy the work and enjoy learning new development languages and frameworks. On top of using Perl, ASP, Web Forms, MVC, and MVC Core, I have learned and used Javascript, AngularJS, Visual Basic, and Ajax. I've also developed a surveillance camera desktop application as part of my development work and am interested in .NET Windows Forms / WPF software engineering.
