OVERVIEW
I bring order to chaos. I’m an analyst, a strategic and conceptual thinker, a pragmatist and a
problem solver. I uncover, discover, simplify and improve. I help flesh out problems and
ambiguity, drive clarity, aligned understanding and action – be it to develop and deliver strategy,
to implement operational change, or to improve the current state. I am driven by my proven
ability to model for clarity, highlight what is vague, shed light on the unknown, connect the dots
and build a path toward success for the organisation.
My experience over the last 27+ years includes Business Architecture, Business Analysis,
Business Process Improvement, Portfolio Management, Business Engagement & Relationship
Management, Business Consulting, People Management & Mentoring and Software Development.
I build lasting, trusting relationships with stakeholders and have proven skills in putting people
at ease, asking the right and sometimes difficult questions, identifying gaps or risks and
proposing alternatives. I have vast experience dealing with people at all levels of the
organisation, and am comfortable engaging, presenting to, and informing executives, to drive
effective decision making at senior levels.

CAREER EXPERIENCE
Morrison Co| Consultant Business Architect | Sep 2024 – March 2025
An infrastructure investment firm that invests in private and listed markets globally
Achievements:
• Re-focused the business architecture models, to align with best practice methodology and
enable enterprise wide, non-siloed views
• Mitigated the risks associated with a point solution request, through the discovery of the actual
fundamental business problem, its causes and the resultant scope of work required to truly
address the problem. I designed relevant process improvements and defined resultant
business and solution requirements, delivering a gap analysis that effectively informed
solution options
Responsibilities:
• Review and revise existing business architecture
Accident Compensation Corporation | Enterprise Business Architect | Apr 2018 – Sep 2024
ACC provides compulsory insurance cover for personal injury for anyone who suffers an injury in New
Zealand, supporting the rehabilitation of personal no fault injuries. ACC also delivers injury prevention
initiatives
Achievements:
• Developed the initial capability view for the administration of a potential Income Insurance
Scheme (IIS). Worked off the vision and draft policy to develop a value chain and value stream
framework and delivered an ACC vs. IIS capability gap analysis, within weeks, to inform exec and
senior leadership of the impact such scheme could have on ACC. My playback accelerated senior
leadership’s response, enabling sound decisions at pace, and enhanced their ability to effectively
direct resourcing. The framework additionally provided a solid foundation from which the working
group could prioritise design effort in terms of the needed change to people, process, data and
technology, to implement and run such scheme
• Developed various Blueprints for various teams, strategies or products, which drove effective
change prioritization, change roadmap development and funding bids. The Blueprints generally
consisted of the business motivation (strategies & tactics, goals & objectives), the business
capability required to effectively enable the goals, and the degree of change required across
people, process, information and technology. This was supplemented with a current vs. future

state business capability view, with maturity assessment and gap analysis, informing the change
roadmap
Conducted an impact study for change to the Experience Rating product: I developed a value
stream and enabling business capability view and overlaid a comparative view of the impacts on
business capability across various change options. I also provided a view of the change effort
compared to anticipated benefit and customer impact of each option. My input clearly highlighted
none of the suggested options would deliver the expected benefits and indicated the need for a
total re-think of the product
Facilitated the development of a Strategic framework for implementation of Pasifika client focused
change, for which I was commended at DCE level. I guided the team in terms of the required
work and facilitated the working sessions to deliver the framework, which directed clear scope of
work
Responsibilities:
• Connect delivery to strategy, by understanding the strategic positioning of an area and creating
a clear picture of the capability gaps that could impede teams from executing on the stated
strategy (effectively supporting strategic planning)
• Support Enterprise Architecture in the development of a capability change roadmap by providing
capability change needs and clear business motivation
• Abstract the business to develop simplified views which supports aligned understanding and
streamlined decision making
• Develop & maintain core business architecture artefacts and relationships between them,
providing insight to Enterprise Architects, business owners, and other stakeholders
• Develop views across business functions, business services and the relationships between those
and business capabilities
• Ongoing architecture practice uplift and coaching

Achievements:
• Enabled the clear articulation and needed visibility of Shared Services’ strategy and operational
landscape, to enable effective change planning & delivery
• Uncovered and highlighted a critical financial risk which wasn’t on the Debtor team’s radar and
lead to refreshed focus on managing the risk

the efficient resolution of the actual problem, through process standardization and people
training instead of addressing a mis-perceived technology problem

use of business architecture, ensuring the biggest value work was being driven into the pipeline,
from solid roadmaps
• Introduced new ways of working which improved engagement between business and ICT and
focused resourcing on change that would provide the greatest stakeholder benefit
• Mentored and supported other Business Architect team members, to uplift effectiveness of the
