I offered services as a consultant , carried out installations and dealt with day to day client queries. I also was the Database administra tor for a Micro Finance company called Credfin that had critical informa tion that needed to always be available. I was responsible for offering support on a daily basis. This is where I got myself acquainted with the d atabase language called MySQL. Reagola Consulting Zimbabwe Technical Specialist June 2014 – July 2015. While I was at Reagola I familia rized myself with IBM products and services that we offered. Thes e included IBM Servers, AIX which is the Operating system that the IB M servers use. This enabled me to ta p into the Linux skills that I had acquired a t university as they are all a UNIX derivative language. During my time here I was not only the technician but also the sales and marketing rep for IBM Zimba bwe and its products. Reagola South Af rica (Cape Town) UNIX Administrator, February 2014 – June 2014. I worked in Cape Town which is the Head Quarters of th e Reagola Consulting firm, it is here where I dug into the world of UNIX Operating Sys tems seeing that I was to be the administrator. As a result, I did extensive research in th is area which lead me to also studying further about Linux. I then got transfer red to the sister company situated in Hara re Zimbabwe.
