Rodel Medina

Story of my Life My name is Rodel M. Medina, 37 years old and Married with one kid. My wife’s name is Sherelyn Mogol Medina. We met back in 2002, while I was working as a Forecourt Service Crew ( Gas Boy) for a Gasoline station in Makati. She was being trained to be a Cashier/ Store Crew for another branch owned by my then Boss. We got married in 2003 in Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro and was together eversince. We never got the chance to have children early on due to a medical condition that we are still reeling from. She was diagnosed with Accute Schizoprenia in early 2010 and was doing psych check ups and medication eversince. That is part of the reason why I started to hone my skill as a CSR for the BPO. My hobbies include traveling and discovering “would be forgotten” dishes in the provinces and trying hard to re learn how to prepare them. Thus, I am studying how to start a blog so I can have that documented for future reference. I also love lawn tennis since High School and although I never got the chance to play competitively, I love doing warm up smashes in the mornings. So, it is no secret that I love food and I love cooking. My best dish so far is my version of the “ Arroz ala Cubana y Omhie “. Part of the reason why I loved traveling is to help my wife. The aim is to get a few days off of the routine and see new places and be in a different environment even for a few days. Everything is finally going my way when our baby joined in. Now I am working harder to land a better job to be able to provide for the family.
