Responsible for major technical decisions in client engagements. Oversee design and implementation of DevOps solutions for clients, ensuring
quality and client‑fit, and results in a short timeframe.
• Successfully executed multiple migrations to AWS EKS from EC2 instances, resulting in a significant increase in deployment frequency while
reducing change failure rate. Also migrated clients from non‑managed K8s distributions such as Kops to EKS.
• Led the adoption of the AWS CDK for infrastructure as code. Designed a shared CDK library of reusable infrastructure components using type‑
script, enabling the development team to setup their own infrastructure while also meeting compliance requirements. Developer productivity
was increased by 50% as they no longer had to rely on the DevOps team for new infra.
• Redesigned the CI architecture for a large monorepo of over 90 applications. Reduced build times by 80% with the custom built solution, which
improved the developer experience and productivity.
• Designed and built a Kubernetes operator in Golang to streamline the deployment of more than 80 white‑labeled applications through ArgoCD,
significaly reducing effort required to deploy new versions and onboard new clients.
• Led the adoption of GitOps practices for various clients, using FluxCD and ArgoCD. Designed their GitOps workflow for improved developer
experience, enhancing collaboration and visibility for all teams in the organizations.

SOFTWARE ARCHiTECT – DEVOPS
January 2011 ‑ December 2020
Responsible for technical strategy and architecture. Oversaw architectural design of 5 teams of 4 developers, ensuring that teams wrote maintain‑
able and testable code. Acted as program manager for technical projects. Responsible for technical recruitment and hiring of over 30 developers.
• Designed and led the migration of our monolithic applications into microservices. Conceptualized and built in collaboration with senior devel‑
opers an internal microservice framework to make adoption of microservice easier and seamlessly enforce microservice guidelines.
• Designed the global frontend architecture, implemented and standardized the frontend of all company products through a React design system
and React components library that was used by all developers, significantly reducing efforts required to implement UI changes and improving
the user experience.
• Transformed the application lifecycle of the company by integrating DevOps practices when the company had none. Moved from a classic CI to
a Continuous Delivery approach. Reduced cycle times and increased deployment frequency while reducing release rollbacks at the same time.
• Led the adoption of serverless architecture. Designed the CI/CD serverless pipelines. Established serverless architecture guidelines to reduce
adoption friction. Built libraries tailored to the company needs for serverless adoption. Mentored developers on Serverless framework and SAM
CLI. After adoption AWS static server costs were reduced and maintenance required to operate API’s was reduced.
• Formed and led platform engineering team. Delivered various technical products to increase the productivity of the development team, such as
a custom CLI to automate generation of boilerplates, a microservice framework that took care fo common concerns and allowed the developers
to focus on the business logic.
• Formed Devops and Test Automation teams. Responsible for DevOps strategy implementation. Designed automation strategy, led automation
team.
