I am an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) firmware developer engineer with ~8 years experience.
I work with Xilinx FPGA devices and development tools (ISE, Isim, XPS, SDK, Vivado, Modelsim).
I work with Altera FPGA devices and development tools (Quartus, Qsys, Nios EDS, Modelsim Altera Edition).
Creating new IP cores / peripherals from scratch. Maintenance/optimisation of old sources.
My IP cores are mostly written in VHDL, but I'm also capable to work with verilog or systemverilog if I need to.
Capable to create AXI or Avalon interfaced peripherals.
I also have some experience with Microblaze/Nios/ARM processor side software/driver development.
Capable to use hardware diagnostic tools (oscilloscope, logic analizator, etc.)
Hobbies:
My hobby is bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
I deal with cryptocurrencies since ~4 years, so I have a pretty good understanding in various fields of it (On user level. I haven't developed anything blockchain based yet).
I also write articles for the Hungarian bitcoin community.
Availability:
I have got a permanent job as an FPGA developer engineer, but I also do contracts in my free time.
These contracts are remote jobs, which I do from home in my free time.
I can work ~20-30 hours a week in a contract position (depending on how much work I have at the time of a request).
I am not willing to relocate.
Payment:
Can be an hourly rate, a task-based fee, or a monthly fixed salary too.
