 Established the ICT unit of the University, which was upgraded to a Directorate in 2005. The directorate is

responsible for incubating, designing, and implementing ICT projects, providing University-wide area network support, systems support, repairs, and maintenance.

 Project coordinator for the University's first-ever internet connectivity project, overseeing the installation of VSAT equipment to provide campus internet services.

 Design and implementation of the university's first local and wide area network connecting all campus buildings and offices.

 Setting up of the first Internet café on campus, which evolved into 5 digital e-learning centers at various locations in the University campus

 Introduced the online portal payment solution to run all services and processes in the University

 Successfully coordinated the implementation of the online college portal to run the University’s services online through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiative

 Creation of the University website on the .ng domain

 Design, installation, and implementation of the University's first-ever Wi-Fi wireless network

 Design, installation, and implementation of the University's first-ever WIMAX backbone wireless network

 Design and administration of the University e-Voting app – The deployment of this application was used to stop election violence, vote rigging, and other forms of malpractice hitherto associated with the manual method of voting in the University. This was the first of its kind among universities in the South-South region of Nigeria.
