With more than 2 years' experience in the publishing industry I am an excellent proofreader, editor and writer. I have worked on a range of materials, from academic work to legal journals and weekly magazines, carrying out an array of roles - writing, researching, commissioning, page layout and subbing - most recently for an international B2B publisher.

I am currently working as a content, marketing and PR professional, with a particular focus on the environment sector.

I have an excellent eye for detail and offer a high-quality subbing and editing service for all types of documents and online copy.

I also have extensive data entry / fact checking experience.

My most recent role, as managing editor on a range of magazines for the entertainment technology sector, encompassed all of these tasks, along with page layout and website management.

In addition to this I have worked as a researcher/writer for legal publications, and as chief sub-editor for a range of magazines and journals covering the financial and commercial property markets.

I have also produced a series of regional surveys - both UK and European - involving extensive web- and telephone-based research.

Previous freelance experience includes academic proofreading - including essays and theses covering topics such as environment, modern history, history of art and maths.
