Richard Foley

I'm a Perl developer, contractor and author, with extensive experience with SQL on multiple RDBMS, (oracle, mysql, postgres), shell, Catalyst, Apache, nginx, XML, SOAP, etc. Born and raised in the UK, I currently operate from my Tarragona office in Spain. I've worked on a lot of remote contracts over the years, so git/ssh is standard practice and, within the bounds of "remote", am highly flexible.

While my native language is English, I also speak German and am learning Spanish. I have been involved with the Perl programming language for nearly two decades, and involved in the online community, via CPAN/YEF/etc. I've contributed to the core and have written several Perl books.

The intention is that you keep my data on file for future reference. I look forward to hearing from you any time you have something suitable.
