I have more than 30 years part-time private research experience and I have worked in full-time professional ancestral research for the past years in a supporting role for professional genealogists - this is an ongoing work that I do for existing UK companies and involves tracing ancestral connections, missing persons, writing reports outlining results often going back to seventeenth and eighteenth centuries with a starting point in the twentieth century.

I have access to all the major genealogical databases including Ancestry, Findmypast, MyHeritage, FamilySearch, NEGHS, Geneanet and many others. In addition I have contacts with archives offices in many countries around the world. I collaborate with those seeking to verify their family trees as well as authors seeking background information for the families (subjects) of their research.

I have gained valuable experience in breaking down brickwalls in genealogical research and have had notable successes in this area.

I also have had many years of experience in sourcing products for export markets. My work included marketing, sampling, certification, ordering, translations, organizing artwork, costings, logistics and dealing with all essential matters for buyers and sellers alike. My principal strength lies in the ability to react promptly to the needs of customers bringing speedy and efficient results. I have experience with most basic MS programs but outsource other office needs to local professionals at cost effective rates. I am looking for opportunities to use up several hours of free time each day and build additional online business. I lived and worked in Finland for more than 20 years and can do translation of Finnish-English texts professionally. I write promotional materials and can proof-read English texts well.
