I studied a Bachelor of Arts in English at Polytechnic University of the Philippines. During my time at the university, I've joined various organizations such as Women’s Initiative for Socialist Development and Freedom, Achievers in Mission and was a project and events head in PUP Guild of English Majors Society. These gave me knowledge in handling events, liquidation reports, and a privilege to connect in Polytechnic University of the Philippines' administration office in terms of allotment of budget and activities we’ve conducted. Also, being presented to more students, educators, and professionals outside the campus made me more equipped in communicating effectively to people.
I've been trained when it comes to giving assistance in research, events, and workshops as well as public communication techniques. I’ve done data analysis and data gathering in every event that we’ve organized. Likewise, I arranged business to business meetings, did some email handling and management, created google forms, cold calling and had given assistance to public speakers and events head who’s looking for willing students to teach and even accommodate in their respective companies.
Furthermore, I successfully did two major Qualitative Research papers. These tasks were done in a systematic and careful data gathering, both were approved by expert researchers, and was picked by one of the best and timely relevant research paper in our institution.
Additionally, I am confident in my communication skills. I’ve worked as a part-time sales associate for 3 years at a start-up enterprise. I gave excellent selling services to car owners and companies all over the Philippines. Hence, verbal and written English communication won’t be an issue at all.
