Rhena Mae Panopio

My name is Rhena Mae Panopio and I'm from the Philippines. I previously worked as an assistant at a learning center before finding online freelancing opportunities. I gained valuable communication skills while working in that position, both with students and with my colleagues. Besides having the opportunity to hone and improve my communication abilities, I've had the opportunity to learn what it's like to have a job and earn money. As a result of the epidemic taking place, I have uncovered a world that I was previously unaware of. The first work I received as a freelancer was as a researcher, where I was tasked with gathering Bible passages on a certain subject and compiling them into an Excel spreadsheet. Because of the epidemic that is affecting the globe, I sought for online work alternatives to supplement my family's income. As a freelancer, I am able to work on my own schedule, which enables me to take on a greater number of projects. In addition to my work as a researcher and data expert, I also work as a transcriber. Because of the academic assignments I've completed in the past, I've also gained some expertise in video editing. In order to better my abilities and services, I am now studying graphic design in order to be able to provide this service to my customers. I am a self-employed individual that is prepared to take on projects that are within my ability.
