I have been in the Business Process Outsourcing industry since 2012 and most of my experience is with Customer Service. Providing great customer service is a tough job but with all the experiences, knowledge and skills that I have, I know I would be able to provide quality customer experience.
I also have a background in Sales in Telecommunications (Sprint Postpaid) and Airlines (Jetstar). I learned that sales and customer service can go hand in hand with proper knowledge, skills, and training.
I used to work in one of the leading bank in the US, JP Morgan Chase as a Fraud Specialist. I used to be a deposit review analyst that reviews fraud checks. My role is to mitigate fraud by reviewing checks and online transactions. Fraud prevention is our main goal. Then after a year I was transferred to another LOB which is Fraud hotline. We still review checks but this time we are able to speak with customers directly and we can discuss further the transactions they made on their account.
Prior to working as a Fraud Specialist, I've been a Flights Reservations Specialist to an Australian airline for 3 years. It was an Inbound campaign where customers would call us to book their flights. It was a Sales account at the same time.
The knowledge and skills that I've earned in the BPO industry will be a major factor to start my freelancing career. I've decided to shift to freelancing because of the convenience it gives especially to working moms like me.
