I'm a GNU & Linux consultant. I've participated in conferences about FOSS on most of the major Mexican
universities (UNAM, U de G, ITESO, Universidad Enrique Diaz de León and others); also, the Health
secretariat. I am an active member of LinuxCabal, A.C-:
I worked almost 3 years for the Mexican Foodbank Association; where I started the Audio-Visual department. I
did several videos that had national exposure. I started learning PHP5 and MySQL on my own; which took me
to start the development department and develop simple applications for the use of the Foodbanks. I
orchestrated the development and almost finished an ERP; which was never used because of my departure so I
could dedicate myself to my band full time.
I, also, coordinated the IT department; collaborating with new developments. I, too, was an 'Ambassador' to
mediate relations and develop projects with America's Second Harvest and the Global Foodbanking Network.
2003:
I was in charge of Internet research; at the local government of Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, México; where I took
the responsibility of diging national and international aid organizations for the benefit of our poorest
communities.
2003:
I organized a few events, of my own conception, titled: Sunday Fest (Domingo Fest); which consisted in varios
workshops; like: experimental painting and theater, break dance, music, graffitti and several urban disciplines.
This event was hosted by: the local government, companies, parents and the society in general. These events
where so successful that a major national university; ITESM campus Chihuahua, Culturas Juveniles, A.C.,
Televisa Fundation and several others where very interested in them.
These events were suspended after my mother's death and were continued by the State's government; with a
new title: 'Festival Internacional de Chihuahua'.
2003:
I was a member/producer/manager of the band called DXTR; in which I composed, next to the band members,
various themes that they recorded afterwards. This CD is available in MySpace and Facebook-:
I was working as a 'jack of all trades' musician in one of the most successful orchestras in Chihuahua:
Sentimiento Latino.
I played: keyboards, electroacoustic guitar, bass and I sang too. Also, I was a live sound engineer; managing
EAW equipment. Edgar Merás tought me everything that I know about sound engineering; live and studio.
