Hi, I'm Ren — a frontend developer and UI/UX designer with a passion for building clean, functional, and visually compelling digital experiences.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Laguna State Polytechnic University, where I majored in Web and Mobile Application Development. My academic journey gave me a strong technical foundation — from building full-stack websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL, to designing and developing an educational RPG game as my capstone project. But what really shaped me as a developer was getting my hands dirty on real projects from early on.
My professional journey took off at Simple.biz, where I worked as a Website Designer and Developer and delivered over 63 client websites end-to-end. That means I handled everything — from receiving client briefs and wireframing, to design, development, revisions, SEO optimization, and final deployment. Managing multiple projects simultaneously taught me how to work fast without cutting corners, communicate clearly with clients and team leaders, and maintain a high standard of quality across every deliverable. I also leveraged AI tools, photo and video editing, and CRM platforms to streamline workflows and keep projects moving efficiently.
Before that, I completed a 600-hour UI/UX Design internship at Pixel 8 Web Solutions, where I designed high-fidelity prototypes in Figma for both mobile and desktop applications. I also led a sub-team of interns and helped train new joiners on design workflows and UX evaluation — an experience that built my confidence in both collaboration and leadership.
On the technical side, I work comfortably with React, Vite, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, and Supabase for modern web development, alongside Figma for design and prototyping. I've integrated third-party tools and services into client websites — including Elfsight widgets, Cognito Forms, and various CRM and booking integrations — and I'm actively expanding my skills in API integration and workflow automation.
What sets me apart isn't just the tech stack — it's the combination of design sensibility and development capability. I can take a project from concept to launch independently, but I also thrive in team environments where collaboration and iteration move things forward.
I'm always learning, always building, and always looking for opportunities to create digital products that genuinely make an impact. If you're looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and genuinely passionate about the web — let's work together.
