Things to do in HuaHin
Things to do in Hua Hin
Hua Hin is situated or rather located 280 km from Bangkok. It is one of Thailand’s most spectacular resorts in the area. It also has very lovely villas and seaside houses that are a tourist attraction. One of my favorite things about Hua Hin is that it’s not only a beautiful resort town but there are also a lot of fun activities in and out of the city to check out. We recently travelled to the place and these are some of the things we did and the places we explored.
A Visit at the Vana Nava Water Park
Our first stop was at the Vana Nava Water Park which one of the best attractions in Hua Hin and on that particular it was really flooded with tourists. From the beautiful site and scenery, we enjoyed sliding. We had so much fun that even leaving was a big problem but we had to leave since there were lots of places that we had planned to visit.
The Hua Hin Floating Market
I recommend a visit to the Hua Hin Floating market which is built in an elegant vintage style. We arrived at the Hua Hin Floating market at around 10:00am using a boat because the shops are arranged in a beautiful and simple way around the lake. The opening hours are between 10am to around 10pm.
A Visit to the Black Mountain Wakeboard Park
This is one the places that you must visit when at Hua Hin. With a custom made arena, this is the best way to get your adrenalin pumping through wakesurfing. The place is amazing and you will find lots of people trying wakesurfing through the help of the trainers.
The world Class Golf
Personally I don’t play golf, leave alone that I actually don’t know how to play. But the feeling one gets when you set your foot at the golf club makes you a top player than Tiger Woods. With 8 golf courses around the town, we were totally spoilt for choice and decided to sample 2 of the 8 and it was spectacular, and can I tell you that it was the first time in my life to play golf! That goes down to the history books.
Cicada Market
Its night and we find ourselves at the cicada market which has some the best and beautiful artifacts that can be sold around. This market can only be accessed on the weekend but the really cool thing about it is that it has that rich vintage feeling. It’s very cute and some of us decided to buy the vintage clothes that were available.
The Hua Hin Hills Vineyard
As a lover of wine, I couldn’t miss on the trip to the Hua Hin Hills Vineyard. We decide to sample some of the best wines they have and much to our chagrin, they are indeed the best that can be found in the world. A quick tour around the Vineyard through an elephant ride was the last thing we had expected but hey, it was a great surprise.
The Plearnwan Shopping Village
After a visit to the Hua Hin Vineyard, our next stop is at the Plearwarn Shopping village. It is called the Plearnwan Shopping Village because it has an inspiration of the old look of Hua Hin. Set in a way that that it brings the good old memories of Hua Hin in its early stages and has the vintage feeling. Food stuffs are also available that one can but some snacks as he or she goes round.
A visit to the Maruekhathayawan Palace
Dubbed one of the oldest palaces in Thailand, it has a very rich heritage and history that one can learn from. A very good place to relax your mind and body, a walk around this palace is one that you cannot afford to miss when you are at Hua Hin.
One cannot visit all this places without failing to have a stop at the Plato Seafood.
The Plato Seafood.
What a way to bring happiness by visiting the Plato Seafood which located along the beach. Nicely cooked seafood with a coconut was the last thing we did will at Hua Hin. A magnificent view at the sea as you have your lunch is the most awesome feeling that one can get.
