Reenad Tindoc

I have three years of experience as a part-time bookkeeping assistant in an agricultural retail business. During this time, I managed inventory, accounts payable, and accounts receivable while pursuing my studies. I also occasionally took on cashier duties as needed. Since the business operates as a small retail store, we typically summarize cash sales by counting the total cash and recording the cost of goods sold on a weekly basis, where we conduct our regular physical inventory counts. As the person in charge of inventory, my responsibilities include performing physical counts and making purchase orders.

I ensure stock levels are maintained by monitoring inventory, preventing it from falling below the reorder point, and coordinating with suppliers for replenishment. I am also responsible for managing accounts receivable, where I organize the recorded information of the customers with outstanding balances, including their full name and contact number.

When payments become due, I make reminder calls, and if they become overdue, I follow up to ensure timely collection. As an assistant that is also responsible for accounts payable, I will be the one to process payment for the business payables such as rent, and utility bills except for the taxes since the bookkeeper in charge is the one to handle that matter. I also took cashier duties when I don’t have any more work to do as a bookkeeping assistant.
