I graduated from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh with distinction in International Management and Leadership (MSc). Currently, I am working as an English teacher in Madrid, which has been a great catalyst to my personal development. I am also working remotely as the Marketing Lead for an online Language Exchange start-up business, where I create and post content.

My bilingual upbringing and international schooling kindled a fascination for cultures, creativity, and communication very early in my life. In the third year of my undergraduate degree, I was nominated to spend one semester in Melbourne, Australia. I take a lot of pleasure in challenging myself in such international ways. My extensive traveling has shown me creative ways to communicate and interact with people from various cultures, which I was able to apply while leading a social media and digital marketing project at an Edinburgh-based start-up business. In addition, it taught me to adapt to foreign situations quickly and with confidence.

My BA in Events Management required exceptional problem solving, negotiation and communication skills, which were necessary when my university team planned, organised and successfully carried out a live charity event. Managing this event alongside university taught me to work towards deadlines, and manage my own workload while working independently. In addition, my master's degree demanded high analytical skills. It was vital to be able to gather information, analyse appropriately and solve complex problems in order to excel in this course.

As part of the MSc, I lead a social media marketing campaign for a start-up business and was thus able to demonstrate my leadership, project management, and research skills. This project allowed me to be proactive, and ensure customer happiness through creative communication. I enjoy reaching out to people on various platforms, building relationships and working online.

I am extremely driven, with a strong passion for success and quality. The silver service style on the Royal Yacht Britannia has taught me to go above and beyond in order to ensure the best quality for customers. In addition, having worked in various events and hospitality positions, I have experienced fast paced environments, developed vital sales and communication skills and can cope with pressure and stress in a very professional manner. I believe that motivation and positivity aid to a good culture within a company, and thus I always have an affirmative outlook on challenging situations.
