My name is Rebecca Slone and I am looking to be your go to person. I have 15 years of customer service under my belt. I started my work life in 1991 as the youngest gospel radio disc jockey. This was published in the gospel news. I followed with working in different office environments from animal clinics to working as a Co-Event Coordinator for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
I am a virtual assistant who has worked with VetBlue, WordPress, LastPass, File Stream, Google Drive, Excel, PowerPoint, and more. I schedule events, meetings and travel. I am a social media manager. I do inbound and outbound calls. I have worked with various people and companies to improve the efficiency of their work.
I have been trained in customer service, as well as, technical support with Microsoft and Hewlett Packard. I am a Patient Advocate with the National Patient Foundation based out of Washington, DC. My duties with the non-profit are to meet with State Representatives and Senators and explain why certain healthcare bills need to be passed. At that point, getting them to cosign onto the new bill. I am a 2-year nursing student with clinical rotations in the ICU. I was also a state registered nurse aide at our local rehabilitation hospital. I have three years of science/medical in college. I have been a licensed massage therapist for 6 years in the state of Kentucky and Florida.
My interests include birth parent and adoptee search and reunions, as well as, a genealogist, starting at the age of 15 years. I am a hobby photographer and candy maker. I am very excited to assist you! I have included my resume.
