Rebeca Curbelo Jiménez

I hold a bachelor´s degree in translation and interpreting from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria University, Spain, since 2006 specializing in English and German. I also earned the sworn translator certification by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

I have devoted the last decade to English teaching. Being in charge of some of the public professional English courses organized by the Unemployment Office in Gran Canaria which has provided me with team leading skills as well as enhacing my communicative skills to a varied audience.

Concurrently, I have kept my position as a freelance translator, I translate documents, legal documents mainly, from English into Spanish and vice versa; in addition I have perform verbal language interpretation on occasion. My latest experience in this field was as a simultaneous interpreter in the Spar International HR conference hold in September 2021.
