Used Oracle object-relational database management system to store all video data objects. • Collaborated with WTC Operations, the Police Department, WTC Engineering, design consultants, and the Fire Department to ensure that new technology initiatives work as a cohesive unit. • Managed over twenty security applications related to CCTV, video analytics, electronic access control, webbased situational awareness used for monitoring the WTC site, and counter-terror vehicular detection systems that are part of the WTC Security program. • Work with both internal and external stakeholders to gather business requirement, develop technical and functional specifications for new front-end security applications. • Create design documentation, coordinate project implementation, verification, validation, as well as the maintenance for security applications including, access control, video management systems, and counterterrorism security applications. • Make recommendations on where new technology can be integrated into the WTC Security Program to enhance existing operations while reducing cost. Chief Security Office/WTC Security, Logical Systems Project Manager, December 2015 – January 2018 • Developed and support user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3 (CSS Grids) to manage all security systems throughout the WTC site using a map JavaScript API. • Used JavaScript ES 6 to create a user interface that automates the data acquisition of private vehicles screened at the WTC. • Led the implementation of an application that integrates Port Authority Video Management Systems (VMS) with NYPD counter-terrorism CCTV feeds. • Provided high level expertise to design, develop and implement security systems throughout the entire WTC site, including the Vehicular Security Center, the Vehicle Roadway Network, the Transportation Hub, and the Campus Plan. • Analyze multi-site project scheduling and provide alternative solutions to ensure that individual projects meet timeline and budget expectations. • Developed software design and collaborate with the Procurement and Legal Departments for the preparation, bid, and award of security projects. • Develop plans and coordinate technical resources to migrate existing security systems and applications to newer technologies while maintaining continuity of daily operations. Produced low and high-fidelity prototypes which resulted in a responsive webpage that adjusted to desktop, tablet and mobile users. Iterated prototypes based on user experience (UX) evaluations. Setup web server with operating system, firewall rules, and deployed a Public-Private Key Infrastructure using SSL and SSH for secure communication. Used HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 4, JavaScript ES6, Python3 with Django framework for the front-end. Setup and configured a relational database using MySQL to store all patients’ data. Applied DevOps techniques to package the API using Docker Compose. Developed RESTful API for the patient as well as the physician. The physician portal included forms submitted by patients as well as data analytics, graphs and charts. Used OAuth 2.0 for users to authenticate to into the login webpage. Used GitHub as a version control system to track and upload changes based on routine unit tests. Used Asciidoctor, a Ruby based toolchain to properly capture all technical information for future developers and web administrator. Documentation included a detailed deployment guide, catalog, and user manual. Deployed WordPress with backend MySQL and PHP. Used a Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach to formulate unit tests that covered all branches and paths of the application design. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey New York, New York Engineering Department, Electrical Engineer, January 2014 – December 2015 • Used Human Computer Interaction design principles to implement a web-based building management system that monitored and controlled over 20,000 live data points for HVAC, communications systems, and energy management systems. • Performed daily inspections for contract work, for new systems, including: Communication system, microprocessor-based control system, Fiber Optic network, CCTV, DAS, Building Management System, Electric Energy distribution system, HVAC, VFD and UPS. • Migrated older Building Management System into a newer automated platform that integrated fire alarm systems, electrical systems, and HVAC systems. • Supervised and managed the implementation of new network systems, ensuring that testing and commissioning was in compliance with contract specifications, and all applicable standards. • Prepared detailed estimates, and scope definitions for change order packages.
