Ramatu Ada Ochekliye

I am Ramatu Ada Ochekliye, a freelance radio and television presenter.

I hosted four radio programs; programs ranging from my time twice a week on the prime-time breakfast show of the station to a fashion and lifestyle show. I also hosted the midday show once a week and co-anchored a show specifically designed for students of tertiary institutions. In addition, I used to anchor the breakfast show on TV. I started out as a guest on the campus show and was offered the rest of the shows.

Also, I produce content for my personal Blog, Podcast and Vlog sites where I discuss issues affecting Africa, Africans and people of African descent. The platforms are called SHADES OF US. My desire is to influence ripple effects of change in my immediate environment.

I've learned a lot about broadcast media even though my first degree was not in Mass Communication. I have learned to use audio editing software like CoolEdit Pro and Adobe Audition and video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015. I am also an adept script writer and film director.

My interest in media (television, journalism, music, radio, social media and new media) has grown in the last two years and is continuing to grow.

I am available to start work immediately and I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
