Worked with Two Rivers Harley-Davidson April 2015 - May2016
Joined Two Rivers HD as Trainee Sales Consultant and left as Sr. Sales Consultant. Responsibilities included selling HD motorcycles, follow up with prospect customers, handling HD owners, tackling their issues and provide with the best-in-class experience. Also planned and executed outstation marketing events to generate leads in the new market and generate revenue by closures. In tenure of a year sold more than 80 HD motorcycles. This one year helped me hone my interpersonal communication skills.

Post Harley-Davidson began working with one of the dominators in premium/luxury fashion retail i.e. RBL as Fashion Consultant and climbed up the ladder as Assistant Store Manager. Whilst they (RBL) have many premium brands under them; I was working with the premium denim brand - GAS. Responsibilities include generating sale through omni-chanel, customer calling and follow-ups and updating them on the newest trends and looks. I led a team of 5 people guiding them through sales processes, keeping their morale high at all times, push them to achieve their individual targets and in return achieve store’s monthly sales target. Also, the job provided liberty to indulge in devising marketing plans. And to make the most of the liberty I had gotten my previous organization (HD) on board and devised a cross-promotional plan and executed the same successfully.

Post working with retail I had switched to the India’s largest food aggregator Swiggy (Bundl Technologies Private Limited) and joined as Sales Manager, where the duties included acquiring new restaurants that meet criteria to be on Swiggy, generate high priority restaurants lead, account management, keeping a close watch on restaurants in portfolio for the growth in their orders, suggest new food trends to boost orders, all time assistance to restaurants in portfolio for any real time issue related to food issues, food handling, delivery boys issue etc, educating restaurant partners on discounting and food photography, helping restaurants to get their ‘mark food ready’, ‘Order acceptance’, restaurant cancellation and order edits above the threshold.
Communication:
While as a Sales Consultant in Two Rivers HD and Reliance Brands Limited (RBL) writing reports and giving feedbacks to my seniors immensely increased my written communication skills. Also I had presented in front of many Pune-riding groups about the overall HOG (Harley-Davidson Owners Group) culture and educating them about riding formats.
My interpersonal comminication skills have always helped me building a wide network. I have always been the first choice when it came to handling unhappy customers. I have my own tricks to pacify angry customers. Both the orrganisations where I worked and stil working have HNI (High Networth Individual) clients.
Leadership and Teamwork:
I am confident in both working in team and leading. In my under graduation (BBA) program I was in core-committee of procurement department, for our college festival “Sympulse” 2012. Where I was already working in a team of core-committee members and leading a group of five students. Also, in the university I have worked in the group projects and assignments where in many cases I was both the leader and a team member.
IT:
I always used and still using Microsoft Office for my all course works and presentations. I am proficient in using Word, Power Point and Excel. I always keep myself updated with the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) practices of website management. Also at RBL I mostly use SAP. I certainly have basic idea about SAP.
Interest and Achievements
Internships:
As a part of BBA course in under-graduation I have successfully completed two internships, one was with an NGO “Loksadhana” in Dapoli, Dist. Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, India and second one was corporate internship with MNC “Fleetguard Filters, Pvt. Ltd.”, Pune, India. In NGO I helped them in procuring information about the supply of electricity consumption points and how many watts each equipment consumes to maximize the utilization of electricity as the NGO is in rural India and there are power cuts. Also helped in teaching under privileged children basic computer use and power point. Corporate internship was successfully completed in Human Resource with “Training and Development” project.
Projects and Assignment work (Under Graduation and Graduation Level):
During under graduation (BBA) I have successfully completed corporate internship of a month. I have worked under HR department and my project was ‘Training and Development’. I have monitored and assisted a batch of 17 trainee in the company Fleetguard as already mentioned earlier. I have monitored their progress during training programs and presented the graphical representation of the same.
In my post-graduation (MBA) I have successfully completed several interesting projects and presentation, one of them was ‘Pitch Presentation’. Pitch presentation was one of the most challenging presentations I was given so far; to convey your whole idea about the product in just five minutes time was indeed a tough task.
In E-commerce I have submitted a project on SEO (Search Engine Optimization); how companies can make sure that their company’s digital address is ‘above the fold’ in Google search result page.
In Marketing Communication, I chose the topic of ‘Benetton’s Controversial Advertisement’ and assessed how it benefits the company and why are they doing so.
Others:
Recipient of “AadarshaVidyarthi Puraskaar” (BEST STUDENT AWARD) at School Level in- in DnyandeepVidyamandir, Dapoli, Dist. Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, India. I have opted for the exam of ‘Photography’ on 12th March 2011 as a part of under-graduation course and secured A+ grade in the exam. I have also won several prizes in drawing completions and have a real good sense of drawing and sketching and I still pursue this hobby during my leisure time.
