This project provides significant cost savings for HSBC via drastically reducing the number of helpdesk calls. March 2024 – Nov 2024: Test and Quality Assurance Manager – Mobile Edge Browser Tunnel – HSBC (London) Context: Microsoft Edge browser is the default browser for all staff on Desktop. This project will build and deploy a new infrastructure to provide the same feature on Mobile connecting securely through the Microsoft Tunnel, on both iOS an Android mobiles. This enables a simplified activation experience with enhanced browsing capability for colleagues. This project further provides significant cost savings for HSBC, in terms of blackberry licenses. SourceOne is an existing email archiving solution with end of life on 31-Dec-2024. The archived email data needs to be moved to either a cloud or an on-premises based email archiving solution. For Highly Regulated Countries, Enterprise Vault will be used as the replacement email archiving solution and Discovery Accelerator as the user interface.
