Advance Automotive Tech.: Engine Technologies
Volkswagen (Pune) 2014
PROJECTSM. Tech Project:
Development of Parametric MBD Model of Engine for Vehicle NVH PAT Assessment and Powertrain Mount Optimization
July 2019 – June 2020
Objective: To develop full parametric model of engine in ADAMS for NVH PAT assessment and to optimize mount location to reduce DSR vibrations.
Tools Used: MSC ADAMS, HEEDS etc.
Benefits to the company/Society: There is 91% correlation between simulation results and experimental result, 15% reduction in driver seat rail (DSR) vibrations after optimization. The developed parametric model is switchable to any engine configuration and also useful for other NVH PAT assessment and optimization.
B. E. Project:
Crack Detection in Cantilever Beam Using Natural Frequency as Basic Criteria
Sep 2013 - Apr 2014
Objective: To detect crack in the beam and avoid the failure of beam.
Scope: The proposed method can be applied to different type such as shaft, plate like structure stepped beam, pipe etc. to predict crack.
Tools Used: ANSYS 12.0, FFT Analyzer, Creo.
Benefits to the company/Society: Easy and Best method to detect crack in beam
