Auto Indexing Bicycle( for GlobalEdit)
● Developed and currently maintaining the Auto indexing bicycle, a twin script in which one does
custom queries to Elasticsearch fetching required data and the other uses that to Index assets on
Sysmon. Each can also be used independently for various purposes.
● Tech Stack:

REXA - REnaming Xported Assets( for GlobalEdit)
● Developed and currently maintaining REXA, a tool which accompanies current exporting projects
for GE, which renames the assets, derivatives, markups and metadata files and flatten folder
hierarchy.
● The tool obsoletes the previous method of “exporting by hijacking zips”, thus reducing
the risk of database inconsistency to great extent.

Built the initial version of putpeace.com a food delivery app that delivered food for hostellers
inside IIT-Madras.
Built a POS system and interfaced it with a POS printer, integrating both printer and the chef’s
dashboard, giving the chef access to the orders and billing right from his kitchen.
Managed both front end(made with Angular 1.x) and backend (with python and Django)

● Built the initial version of putprint, a cloud printing application, that help IIT-Madras hostellers,
get their prints, right at their hostel with one tap from their mobile using angular JS 1.x.
● Interfaced with Raspberry Pi and CUPS(Common Unix Printing System) to enable printing
without human intervention 24x7.
● Implemented a Error reporting system, so that procurement team can get notifications by SMS
when there are hardware malfunctions.
● Integrated third-party APIs like One-signal, Google Drive etc with the printing app.

● Built the whole system of printhen, an open source NLP based experimental printing tool, that
prints the given document when a person sends an email to the system.
● The system is trained with NLP using wit.ai and understands many cases of normal linguistic
slangs(only English). For examples, see here
● The system is written in python with whole stack running in a Raspberry Pi which interfaces with
the printer using CUPS as well as connects to Internet to make the communication happen.
