Rachel Shorkey

GENERAL: I finished culinary school at the best and most rigorous culinary school in my state, and one of the top culinary schools in the nation. The classes required multi-tasking skills, a lot of creativity, hard work, long hours, dedication, stress and time management, and an eye for details.

BUSINESS: In college, I've learned how to do many business-related activities. I can do transcription, create memos, send professional emails with the proper format and etiquette, and many other skills. I've also taken basic accounting so I know how to record transactions, balance books, and create financial statements. I received an award in my human resources class for going above and beyond in class, and that required knowledge and application of customer service skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills. I also have some proofreading and editing experience.

CREATIVE: Through the years, I have taken several photography and photo editing classes. I was one of the top students in my classes. I offer "stock" photos as well as any Photoshop services. I've created several small logo designs for small businesses, a few fliers and banners for advertisements, and a couple of t-shirt designs. I can put graphics in .png, .jpeg, or .pdf format.
