Rachel Shieff

Hi I’m Rachel and I’m an English teacher and Communications Specialist from the UK. I have more than 25 years of experience. I have a CELTA and Diploma in Teaching English As A Foreign Language and I’m also a Certified Coach. I have been designing and developing English Language Teaching and Communications Training materials for the classroom and for online courses for 20 years. My course content captures student attention, is inspiring and leaves students motivated to learn more.

I worked at a Five Star airline as a Communications specialist for 13 years, where I taught cabin crew and pilots how to communicate effectively in English, and excel in their jobs. I headed an Aviation English Department at a Flight Training Organization in Spain and was responsible for the design and delivery of courses as well as the creation of Pilot Recruitment tests and an Aviation English test to meet ICAO requirements.

I have a blog and Facebook Page that I continuously develop content for. Its focus is on English Communication Skills specific to the aviation industry. The online course I developed runs on Learndash inside my Wordpress site. http://www.skynolimits.com .

To continuously build a following for my blog and Facebook Page I post content daily that brings value to my target audience and gets them to share the content. I have learned how to engage people by providing Facebook Live lessons. This has given me the opportunity to answer student questions real time and build great relationships with my audience.

To expand my reach I needed to educate myself on how to do direct response marketing. I subscribed to clickfunnels and learned how to create effective landing pages and sales funnels. I integrated ActiveCampaign, my email autoresponder service, and started capturing leads. I connect with and re-market to my email list on a regular basis, providing them with still further materials and resources to enhance their learning.

I now work as a Freelance English Communication Skills Content Developer and Communications Coach (ICF Certified). I get great satisfaction from creating impactful content that helps teenagers and adults achieve their English communication goals for school and business. Business Coaching is a passion of mine and I love helping my business clients achieve results that they once thought were impossible to achieve.
