About

I’m Rached Bouyahi, a DevOps and Cloud Engineer with over three years of hands-on experience building, securing, and scaling infrastructure in production environments. I specialize in automation, observability, and container orchestration, with a strong focus on creating resilient and maintainable systems using open-source technologies.

My journey started with a background in software engineering, but my curiosity and problem-solving mindset quickly led me to the world of DevOps, where I found purpose in bridging development and operations through automation. I have designed and deployed end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins, containerized applications with Docker, and managed deployments using Kubernetes across both development and production clusters. My work consistently emphasizes infrastructure-as-code practices, using tools like Terraform and Ansible to ensure consistency, reproducibility, and scalability.

One of my core strengths lies in observability and monitoring. I’ve built complete monitoring stacks using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Alertmanager to support mission-critical applications. I also implemented OpenTelemetry tracing and log enrichment strategies to gain full visibility across microservices and APIs, particularly for security-oriented platforms like threat intelligence dashboards and real-time classifiers.

I’m also deeply familiar with cloud environments, particularly AWS, where I’ve managed EC2, S3, IAM, Route53, CloudWatch, and ECS services. I’m currently preparing for the AWS Solutions Architect certification to deepen my architectural decision-making in cloud-native designs.

Beyond technical skills, I bring a high level of personal discipline, adaptability, and ownership. I’ve worked in high-pressure environments where on-call support, performance optimization, and rapid issue resolution were part of my daily responsibilities. I value collaboration but I’m also self-driven and capable of independently managing complex deployments and troubleshooting at all levels of the stack.

I’m passionate about growth—both personal and team-wide. Whether it's mentoring junior engineers, writing internal technical documentation, or advocating for DevSecOps best practices, I aim to leave systems and teams better than I found them.

As I seek opportunities abroad, I’m especially drawn to companies that foster innovation, prioritize learning, and cultivate a high-trust culture—values that I recognize in Swisscom’s vision. I’m ready to bring my skills to an international setting and contribute to building cloud-native, observable, and reliable infrastructure at scale.
