Rabi Rilwanu Salisu

I’m Rabi Rulwanu Salisu, a Registered Midwife from Kano State, Nigeria, with a Bachelor of Nursing Science in view at Iconic University. I bring a unique blend of clinical experience and virtual healthcare support, with a passion for improving access to quality care—both in underserved communities and through digital platforms.

I’ve provided midwifery services across several health facilities, including Zumunci Clinic, Amity Specialist Hospital, and Jigawa State PHC. I also worked with the Solina Centre for International Development and Research (SCIDaR) on the Antenatal Risk Stratification Project, where I engaged in health education, field data collection, and maternal health outreach—giving me valuable insight into how NGOs operate at the community level.

To expand my impact, I trained as a Medical Virtual Assistant, with a focus on HIPAA-compliant communication, EMR documentation, appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and remote admin support. My training, supervised by Precious Madu, equips me to serve organizations and clinicians who need reliable, tech-savvy help without compromising data privacy.

I’m comfortable with digital tools like Google Workspace, Zoom, Microsoft Word, Trello and Canva, I am available to learn any tool that suites the company to strengthen my remote collaboration skills as I am a fast learner. Whether it’s supporting telehealth teams, helping NGOs manage field reports, or assisting healthcare providers with virtual patient coordination, I bring attention to detail, professionalism, and compassion to every task.
